You may not think your business will benefit from having a blog. Think again. They are powerful traffic drivers and a tool you can use to maximum impact to make yourself visible in the online business word. Here I’m sharing 4 reasons you should be blogging- and free post ideas.
1. BUILDING TRUST & RELATIONSHIPS
Blogging allows people to get to know the person behind the services and/or products that you offer. To quote Seth Godin,
“People don’t buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories and magic.”
By consistently posting your content, you become recognisable, like a friend to whom they can turn. You let them in. They can hear your voice and your message, and are much more likely to want to work with you.
2. PINTEREST MATERIAL

You can reach a big audience if you share your content (and share it in the right way). If you’re just using Pinterest for fun and none of your own work, you’re wasting valuable business hours.
3. LIST BUILDING
Where else are you going to be able to consistently gain subscribers? Having a blog is a home for you to host your opt-ins, and you can link them to your posts. The idea being: share valuable content in a blog post, then offer something extra in an opt-in for which your audience is willing to exchange their email address.
4. SHARING YOUR EXPERTISE
People need to trust you. Blogging allows you to prove you have the ability to help them, that you know what you are talking about. You become an expert in their eyes, whatever your niche. If you don’t share your knowledge, you can become another service or another shop in a sea of others.
